Our 2020 Christmas Message
God’s Final Word: His Son
In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and
in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he
appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
Hebrews 1:1-2
Rhythm of Life Ministries extends to you our heart in this
Christmas season. With our heart comes Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love that
help fill this time of celebration with anticipation and expectation.
The anticipation and expectation of the coming of Christ lead to a future
filled with God's grace, mercy, and blessing.
Let's take a few moments to reflect on 2020, our relationship
with others, and more importantly, reflect on how we served God by
the manner in which we serve other people. If there is unforgiveness,
hurt feelings, or brokenness of any kind lingering, now is the time to
resolve the matter peacefully and lovingly. This opens the door to
God's unmerited favor of grace, mercy, love, joy, and peace!
Why should we reflect? Because our lives, attitude, actions, thoughts,
and endeavors should be built around serving Jesus, the Messiah,
who is our Lord and Savior. Jesus is the reason we can be filled with
Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love especially
at Christmas. This infilling is exactly why He came to us on that cold
winter night in Bethlehem where He was born. He is the light of life!
He lit the pathway for all people to receive His gift of love.
He demonstrated to the world how to live in love with hope.
Jesus Himself has fulfilled His purpose as
the Light of The World. He will return again at the
Second Coming as the Righteous Judge and the King of Kings!
Will you be ready when He returns?
With so many challenges still ahead of us, try really hard, be diligent and
intentional, and work faithfully at remembering that no matter what,
Jesus is the "Reason" for this season. In fact, He is the reason for life itself.
Therefore, seek the "Presence" of His Holy Spirit and not just "presents".
The world does not have the ability to offer any one of us true peace, joy,
love, or hope that sustains us! Its offerings fade away at the whim of desire.
The "presents" the world offers are temporary! They do not last long.
They require upgrades, refunds, returns, exchanges, falsities, and
life-altering detours. But, Christ is forever yours! He never changes!
He is dependable. He is the truth that can be relied upon at all times.
As we approach the finish line of 2020 and anticipate the entrance of 2021
make plans to enter the new year with
Anticipation, Expectation, Hope, Joy, Peace, Love for all people,
and look toward a brighter future illuminated by the Son of God.
God is still speaking to us today through His Son. He continues to offer
His "Presence"! to everyone. Are you listening?
~"Merry Christmas to all and may all receive His Light"!~
Isaiah 40:31 NIV
........but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar
on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Sincerely,
Beverly Powell & Rhythm of Life Ministries
